About The Event:
In this 5-week seminar, we will read and discuss St. Catherine of Genoa’s (d. 1510) Treatise on Purgatory, a theological work that reflects her mystical experiences and deep understanding of divine mercy and justice. While the spiritual suffering experienced by souls in Purgatory is painful, it is also a manifestation of God’s love, as it leads to ultimate union with Him.
