Building Services

The mission of the Building Services Department is to serve the Catholic Campus community through the planning, design, construction, operation, protection, and maintenance of the physical facilities, and to provide direction and support to senior administration in planning deferred maintenance, enhancement of buildings, and new capital investment in facilities. These services support and enhance the pastoral, academic and administrative environment of the campus.

Building Services is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and management of the fiscal, human and physical resources of the following functional areas:

Maintenance Services

The Maintenance team is responsible for operation and maintenance of life safety systems, mechanical, electrical and architectural (interior and exterior) for all of the campus facilities. This includes emergency response, preventative maintenance, the upkeep and maintenance of all the grounds of the Catholic Campus. The team sets up furnishings for meetings, ceremonies, conferences, student activities, luncheons, dinners, exams, lectures and special events.

Cleaning Services

The Housekeeping team is responsible for the safe and effective cleaning of all buildings on the Catholic Campus. The Housekeeping team is integral in keeping the Coordinator of Facilities informed of any damage and/or wear and tear to the facilities’ infrastructure. The team members also act as the “eyes and ears” for the Building Services team since they interact daily with many of the Campus students and employees.

Security

Security Services are contracted at the Catholic Campus and serve to protect and provide for the ongoing security and safety of the people, property and resources.
