    Specific sections will be updated as the Rituals are updated. In this resource, the Episcopal Commission for Liturgy and the Sacraments, assisted by the National Liturgy Office, aim to provide guidelines, which were approved by the Bishops of the English Sector of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. These guidelines may help the Church in Canada sing praises to the Lord when celebrating liturgies and to use musical styles, melodies, and musical instruments appropriate for the Church’s public prayer: Guidelines
