About The Event:
We are specifically looking for help with:
- Deep cleaning the camp
- Organization
- A large number of small maintenance jobs
- Carpentry
- Yard work and ground repairs
- Providing hospitality to our volunteers
- And many more tasks!
Every year, we host at least two of what we call “Work Bees” at Our Lady of Victory. These are afternoon-long events held at our camp site on Gull Lake where we ask volunteers to come help us with a wide variety of maintenance and cleaning projects.
The many individuals who came to help us at these events in 2023 were instrumental to us being able to reopen Camp that summer after four years of closure. This year we are hoping for at least 100 volunteers for both of this year’s Work Bees, so spread the word to anyone you know that may be interested!
