Kim and Jason Street have been pillars of the Edmonton Catholic Schools Division for many years. In addition to securing grant dollars for schools to support student learning, the Streets are very active in social justice campaigns that have provided food and clothing to students in need.

While COVID-19 put a stop to many activities, the Streets were undeterred. Their latest social justice project involved coordinating a new playground at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Elementary School, and making it accessible to all children.

Jason and Kim were instrumental in the coordination of securing donations and grants to support this initiative.

Despite the challenges faced by the pandemic, the Streets were able to bring more than 100 school and community volunteers together to create a new playground which will be used for many years to come.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Streets, the volunteers, donors, and @playquestrecreation for making this park dream a reality.
