The mandate of The Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton Archives is to collect the acts of the curia and all documents which concern the spiritual and temporal affairs of the parishes and institutions of the Archdiocese.
The Archives is a service area with the primary purpose of making records available for research to the Archbishop, clergy and staff so that they may have the necessary information to fulfill their responsibilities.
Effective May 13, 2024, due to shortage of staff, genealogy search services are temporarily paused and the Archives Reading Room is closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.
