Zoom , CanadaFrom November 10 to 21, a delegation from Development and Peace ― Caritas Canada (DPCC) is participating in COP30 in Belém, Brazil. In addition to closely following the international negotiations, the delegation is taking part in the People’s Summit and the panel discussion “Responding to the Global South Catholic Bishops’ Call for Climate Justice.” What lessons can we learn from this experience? How can we connect the COP discussions to our mission of solidarity and ecological justice? Two weeks after COP30, join our webinar where delegates will explore these questions and share their analyses. This webinar will present the highlights of COP30, the progress and limitations of the negotiations, the link to our upcoming campaign, and the perspectives of Development and Peace – Caritas Canada and its partners in the Global South on promoting a just and solidarity-based ecological transition.
