Fr. Miroslav Kostarzewski celebrates 20 years of priesthood

Today we joyfully celebrate the 20th priestly ordination anniversary of Fr. Miroslav Kostarzewski, giving thanks to God for his faithful ministry and generous response to the Lord’s call.

We are pleased to announce that Daniel Salé and Andrew Sheedy for the Archdiocese of Edmonton will both be ordained as transitional Deacons on July 16, 2026. As ordained Deacons, they each can baptize, witness marriages, preside at funeral services outside of Mass, and preach the homily at Mass.
Daniel Salé born and raised in Edmonton and is a seminarian studying for the Archdiocese of Edmonton, since 2020. Daniel will celebrate his Diaconal Ordination on Thursday July 16, 2026 at 7:00 pm, MDT at St. Joseph Basilica in Edmonton, AB.
Andrew Sheedy grew up in Derwent, AB and then St. Albert, AB and is a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Edmonton, since 2017. Andrew will celebrate his Diaconal Ordination on Thursday July 16, 2026 at 7:00 pm, MDT at St. Joseph Basilica in Edmonton, AB
