Most of the time, we get faith wrong. Faith isn\’t firstly our personal belief in God. Instead, faith is first a gift. Faith for us as Christians is what we call a \”theological virtue\”, meaning it isn\’t dependent on me. Faith in that sense is there, whether we access it or not. Father Kris Schmidt said it\’s similar to the edges of a snowboard.
Coming to know God\’s Word in our lives is a bumpy and sometimes complicated road — or ski hill. Fr. Kris\’s desire is that, as a priest through his homilies and video blogs, God will make Himself known to you more clearly for He is simply Beautiful.
