Dr. Neal DeRoo, a philosopher of religion and phenomenology, has held major academic roles, published widely, and lectured internationally. His current work explores spirituality as a fundamental structure of experience shaping intuition, identity, and worship across social, political, and religious contexts. With over twenty years of academic and administrative experience, Dr. Darren Dahl serves as faculty at Newman Theological College. A Saskatchewan native, he taught at St. Thomas More College after doctoral studies at McMaster University. An Associate Professor of Theology, his research focuses on phenomenology, religious experience, and Revelation. Andrew Rillera is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies and Theology at the King’s University. He is also a co-founder, consultant, and Research Editor for PAX Collective: A non-profit, which seeks to promote the peace of Jesus in the 21st century through accessible Christian content specifically targeting Generation Z and Millennials.

The Calix Society is an organization of mainly Catholic addicts and their spouses who seek to live the 12 Step program fully and freely within the context of their faith and spirituality. This retreat, our second, invites participants to explore the Steps through the lens of the Beatitudes, and the Beatitudes through the lens of the Steps. Open to all faiths and fellowships, it offers a journey that is informative, formative, and transformative. Calix Retreat Presenter: Eugene Aucoin Eugene Aucoin is a retired human resources director, university professor, author, and speaker from New Brunswick. He has spoken internationally about human potential and Christian faith, and his books include Has Science Killed God? and The Beatitudes: Eight Steps to Inner Peace and Happiness. His work focuses on helping readers and listeners discover deeper peace, hope, and spiritual growth.
