Today we celebrate the 25th priestly ordination anniversary of Fr. Christopher Blust, FSSP, giving thanks to God for his faithful ministry and generous response to the Lord’s call.
Born on May 7, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, Fr. Christopher was ordained to the priesthood on June 30, 2001 by Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ, Lincoln, Nebraska .
Throughout his ministry, Fr. Christopher has faithfully served in numerous parishes across the Archdiocese and beyond. In 2020 he became the Associate Chaplain at Vital Grandin Chaplaincy (Latin Mass/FSSP – Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Rite) in Edmonton. In 2021 he assumed the Chaplaincy, and he continues to serve to this day.
Lord, send holy and generous men to serve Your Church as faithful priests. Grant them the courage to answer Your call and the perseverance to follow it with joy. Amen.
