Father Wieslaw Szatanski, OMI, passed away on Sept. 22 in Canmore. He was 57.
The funeral Mass for Father Wieslaw will be held on Oct. 11 at 2 pm at St. Albert Parish. Viewing will take place prior to the Mass. Cremains will be interred in Poland.
Father Wieslaw was a dedicated priest who served in parishes and communities across Alberta. Most recently, Father Wieslaw was assisting ministry at Lac Ste. Anne, Enoch and Missions and St. Albert Parish, with residence at Foyer Lacombe. He also served as pastor in High Level, Valleyview and Chateh in the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan.
We pray for the repose of the soul of Father Wieslaw, and for his entire family. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord. May perpetual light shine upon him.
