    Bible Study at St. Albert Parish

    St. Albert Parish will be hold a fall Bible study beginning on Monday 21 September (7 – 8pm in the parish hall) and will go on until the end of November. This Fall term, the study will focus on three Letters found in the New Testament: St Paul’s Letter to the Hebrews, and the First and Second Letters of St Peter. Dr. Saulnier, a member of St. Albert parish, will once again lead the study. He is a Professor of Sacred Scriptures at Newman Theological College here in Edmonton, where he has been teaching since 2007.

  • Walking the Star Camino

    Every year since 2019, the Star of the North has hosted our own mini Camino, a spiritual pilgrimage and fundraising walk. Participants walk a chosen route—either together or independently, for up to 5 km. The walk is intended to be more than simply a physical hike: it is an opportunity to slow down, pray, reflect, connect with nature, and be intentional about your spiritual journey.

    Calix is an association of Catholic alcoholics, drug addicts, and family members affected by addiction, who are maintaining their sobriety through participation in their Catholic faith and a 12-Step program.     A nine-week grief support program for those who are suffering from the effects resulting from the death of a loved one.

    Meetings are weekly from 7-9PM using Archdiocese approved videos and booklets.
