  • Befriending the Unknown: The Challenges and Gifts of Times of Transition

Star of the North Retreat Centre 3A St. Vital Avenue, Saint Albert, AB, Canada

Moving through times of change and transition is challenging. Transitions create much uncertainty and move us into a liminal space of the unknown. While uncomfortable, this in-between time invites us into inner growth. It is a place where we meet the divine. This retreat will explore how befriending the unknown in times of transition can lead to transformation both societal and personal. Through prayer, scripture, small group sharing and teaching we will explore together both the challenges and gifts that times of transition bring. Debbie Doornbos, B.Th. - Debbie is a retreat leader, and spiritual director with extensive experience leading small groups, creating and facilitating retreats and leading group process. She especially enjoys working with people through life’s many transitions.
