These stresses are not just associated with paid work, but can also surface as hobbies, exercise, housework, or just trying to save the world. Here’s a solution If this sounds like your life, you may benefit by meeting with people who share these problems and are finding a solution in Workaholics Anonymous. We invite you to attend our 12 Step open meetings. We gather to share our experience, strength and hope for a life of serenity and joy. All are welcome! Meetings are held 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, 7 – 8 p.m. Location: Star of the North Retreat Centre, 3A St. Vital Avenue in St. Albert. A Zoom link is also provided for those who are unable to attend in-person.

Ignatian Exercises: Free Info Evening
From September to May, participants spend an hour daily in personal prayer, keep a journal of their prayer experiences, explore their prayer journey with a spiritual director every two weeks, and gather monthly for small group learning and sharing via Zoom, one Tuesday a month from 6:30-9 pm.

Calix is an association of Catholic alcoholics, drug addicts, and family members affected by addiction, who are maintaining their sobriety through participation in their Catholic faith and a 12-Step program. Becoming Spiritual Director Formation – Application deadline May 31, 2026
Becoming: Called in Love is a stand-alone spiritual formation year ecumenically offered through Providence Renewal Center. Becoming is designed for those seeking to deepen their self-knowledge and spiritual life within a supportive community, with the option to continue a second year of PRESENCE: Sent to Serve, completing training in the ministry of Spiritual Direction. Participants meet monthly from October to June to engage in small group learning modules and retreats, with a blend of online and in-person learning.
