    Join us for the fourth installment of the St. Joseph’s College Speaker Series on Friday, March 13, 2026. This philosophy roundtable marks the 800th anniversary of the birth of Thomas Aquinas and will explore his enduring philosophical legacy. Panellists include Jack Zupko and Amy Schmitter of the University of Alberta, Francis Fast of the Classical Academy of Alberta, and Celia Hatherly of MacEwan University. The event will take place from 4:00–5:30 p.m. in the St. Joseph’s College Board Room and on Zoom. A light reception will follow.

    Announcing a Bible study starting January 2026 at St. Anthony’s Church, Edmonton. Please share this news with your network. The Knights of Columbus are facilitating Bible study on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month starting January 10 2026. The study will use The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation (2025), part of the Great Adventure series from Ascension Press. This study teaches Catholics how to read and understand scripture. It introduces the wonderful narrative of the Bible, from Creation to the beginning of our Church, in a way that transforms lives. Participants will gain the confidence to dive even deeper into God’s Word through the mass, their devotions, and their personal study. The Bible Timeline uses high quality materials. Participants can choose between a colour printed or digital workbook that guides their reading of key parts of the Bible. During the meetings, the group discusses their answers to study questions, view video lessons featuring Catholic presenters, and share in fellowship.
