From November 10 to 21, a delegation from Development and Peace ― Caritas Canada (DPCC) is participating in COP30 in Belém, Brazil. In addition to closely following the international negotiations, the delegation is taking part in the People’s Summit and the panel discussion “Responding to the Global South Catholic Bishops’ Call for Climate Justice.” What lessons can we learn from this experience? How can we connect the COP discussions to our mission of solidarity and ecological justice?
