SAVING LIVES, SAVING SOULS – ONE PRAYER AT A TIME !
- – Battle of Lepanto: Pope St. Pius V established the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary to honour the Christian fleet’s victory over the Ottoman Navy on October 7, 1571.
- – Call to Prayer: Before the battle, the Pope asked all of Europe to pray the Rosary, later attributing the unlikely victory to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
- – Spiritual Weapon: The Catholic Church views the Rosary as a powerful tool for peace, protection, and meditation on the life of Christ.
- – Month of the Rosary: The entire month of October is traditionally dedicated to the Holy Rosary in the Catholic Church.
