Sister Mary Clare’s life of dedicated service demonstrates what it means to answer God’s call with courage, generosity, and hope.
A member of the Ursulines of Jesus, Sister Mary Clare is celebrating 60 years of consecrated life and ministry. Her lifelong commitment to prayer, service, and evangelization embodies the Church’s mission to accompany people on their faith journey and help them encounter Christ.
Sister Mary Clare serves on the Spiritual Care Team with Catholic Social Services and honoured with the Archbishop J.H. MacDonald Distinguished Lifetime Contribution Award in recognition of her decades of faithful service, outreach, and spiritual leadership.
As a member of the Archdiocesan Vocations Awareness Committee, she continues to inspire people of all ages to discern God’s call. By fostering a culture of vocation, she encourages others to consider how they are called to serve through marriage, priesthood, consecrated life, or dedicated lay ministry.
Her remarkable journey of faith shows how responding wholeheartedly to God’s call can transform lives and strengthen communities. Through six decades of joyful service and steadfast trust in God, Sister Mary Clare continues to inspire others to embrace discipleship, proclaim the Good News, and participate fully in the mission of Christ and His Church.
