Our Lady of Victory Camp wrapped up another summer early this August. And what a summer it was!

In 2025 we welcomed over 430 young people across five weeks of programming. These young people had the unique opportunity to encounter Christ, community, and creation while having fun, learning new skills, and making new friends at camp.

Carley-Anne Hughes, a volunteer and former camper:

Has being part of the OLVC community helped you grow as a person and in your Faith?

” Ever since I first started coming to camp, my life has changed for the better! My Faith has definitely grown stronger, and having such amazing friends has definitely helped me grow as a person as well. Being part of the OLVC community is the best thing that has ever happened to me!”

What has been your favorite experience at camp so far?

“Out of all the amazing things I have experienced at camp so far, I would have to say Mass has always been my favorite. Celebrating Mass with my fellow brothers and sisters is something that I always look forward to whenever I go to camp!”

What do you like most about being at camp?

“Being around an amazing community of people who share the same Faith as I do is what I like the most about being at camp.”

We have continued to see the Holy Spirit move in exciting ways amongst the youth of the Archdiocese. This summer we had the largest High School Week, with nearly 100 high schoolers joining us for a week filled with prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and faithful leadership development. Thanks to our amazing  team, counselors, and countless volunteers, these campers were able to experience what we can confidently say was our best post-reopening summer yet.

God continues to use OLVC’s ministry in powerful ways. As we move into the 2025 off-season, we are more convinced than ever of the paramount importance of camp’s ministry to the young people of this Archdiocese and of this province. In the coming months we will remain hard at work planning retreats at camp, hosting events, visiting schools and parishes, and preparing for an even better summer next year.
