Most Rev. Stephen Andrew Hero
8th Metropolitan Archbishop of Edmonton
Formerly the Bishop of Prince Albert (2021–2025), he is a former rector of St. Joseph Seminary, and is known for his dedication to pastoral care, liturgical theology, and priestly formation.
His episcopal motto is Deus Solus (God Alone), drawn from Psalms 86:10: “For you are great and do wondrous things; you are God alone.” It expresses the conviction that God must be at the center of every Christian life.
