Providence Renewal Centre, a Ministry of the Sisters of Providence, invites applications for the role of Program Director, Spiritual Nourishment, (part-time, 22.5 h/wk, including some evenings and weekends). We are looking for a person who will share our mission of nourishing and supporting spiritual development in others through meaningful programming.
Primary Responsibilities
As Program Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that programs are offered and promoted in line with our Mission and Vision.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Research and identify appropriate programs and retreats
- Resource and negotiate the services of speakers and facilitators
- Coordinate programs, retreats, and facilitators
- Design and deliver programs and retreats
- Direct marketing efforts
- Develop and maintain effective relationships within the community
- Work with a Program Director who coordinates formation programming and coordinate the work of a program support employee
Qualifications/Expectations
- A Master’s degree in spirituality, theology, or a related field, or relevant experience in retreat ministry or adult faith formation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with digital design tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Canva) and a willingness to learn
