DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that Daniel Salé and Andrew Sheedy for the Archdiocese of Edmonton will both be ordained as transitional Deacons on July 16\, 2026. \nAs ordained Deacons\, they each can baptize\, witness marriages\, preside at funeral services outside of Mass\, and preach the homily at Mass. \n\n\n\nDaniel Salé born and raised in Edmonton and is a seminarian studying for the Archdiocese of Edmonton\, since 2020. \nDaniel will celebrate his Diaconal Ordination on Thursday July 16\, 2026 at 7:00 pm\, MDT at St. Joseph Basilica in Edmonton\, AB. \n\n\n\nAndrew Sheedy grew up in Derwent\, AB and then St. Albert\, AB and is a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Edmonton\, since 2017. \nAndrew will celebrate his Diaconal Ordination on Thursday July 16\, 2026 at 7:00 pm\, MDT at St. Joseph Basilica in Edmonton\, AB \n\n\nPlease watch the website for further updates closer to the ordination date.
