DESCRIPTION:Walking the Star Camino\nA small way to make a big difference\nSign up now to raise money for the Star \nEvery year since 2019\, the Star of the North has hosted our own mini Camino\, a spiritual pilgrimage and fundraising walk. Participants walk a chosen route—either together or independently\, for up to 5 km. The walk is intended to be more than simply a physical hike: it is an opportunity to slow down\, pray\, reflect\, connect with nature\, and be intentional about your spiritual journey. \nWhat is happening with this year’s Camino? \nMany of you  have supported The Star on this annual spiritual walk\, to support the Star’s ministries of spiritual renewal on the pilgrim journey we all share and to support capital or maintenance projects for The Star.  We invite you to do so again.  This year we are walking to support our inner city wellness retreats as well as ongoing and future youth retreat programming. Any funds raised over and above these needs\, we will use to build our reserve fund\, which often goes toward subsidies for folks attending programs at the Star. You can  register for this year’s Camino in support of the Star on our website. \nCreate your team – share the event – raise money – then come and walk – meet 8:30 am at the grotto on September 26 – grab a map – enjoy the walk – enjoy brunch at the Star at 11:30 am! \n\n\n\nStart your team now!
