We’ve all heard it, or maybe even said it ourselves: “But I don’t have time to read the Bible!”

Do you have just one minute a day? The Office of Communications is pleased to present Minute in the Word, a series of (roughly!) 60-second video reflections on the weekday Gospel readings. This new series launched today, December 4, with a reflection on the Gospel of Matthew by Father Marc Cramer, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in west Edmonton and Vocations Director for the Archdiocese.

Minute in the Word reflections are offered by a different priest of the Archdiocese each week, and will be posted each day at 6 a.m. on the ArchEdmonton Youtube channel. They can be viewed to start off the work or school day, for beginning or ending a meeting, while riding the bus ... just about anytime.

The videos will be found each day at www.youtube.com/user/EdmontonArchdiocese — we invite you to take a look and be sure to click Subscribe if you'd to make this feature a part of your day.

In his September 2017 Pastoral Letter, Living in the Word, Archbishop Richard Smith invited us all to spend more time reading and reflecting on Scripture. Minute in the Word is one way we can answer that call. Please feel free to share.

We'd love to hear how you use Minute in the Word!
