Everyone is welcome to join us for a day of celebrating our first Native American Saint, Kateri Tekakwitha, the “Lily of the Mohawks,” on Saturday, April 22
, at Lac Ste. Anne.
The program includes a Living Rosary accompanied by drummers, Mass with Archbishop Richard Smith presiding, and lunch (including bannock). There will also be activities for children and youth.
MC for the event is Gary Gagnon, Coordinator of the new Office of Aboriginal Relations.

12 noon Lunch (including moose stew and bannock)
12:45 p.m. Children and youth activities begin
1 p.m. Presentations by Sister Kateri and Chief Tony Alexis
1:45 p.m. Blessings and prayers with first class relics of St. Kateri in the tipi
(Archbishop Sylvain Lavoie and Sister Kateri)
3 p.m. Stations of the Cross and St. Kateri Chaplet (accompanied by drummers)
4 p.m. Closing prayer
